President Obama was actually a professor at University of Chicago Law School. I always say that I really would like to run for Congress someday but I felt it would be out of reach since I won’t really be in a career that deals directly with politics. Or, a career that churns out most of the politicians (law), but knowing that little fact gives me hope. And, since I want to study social inequality/political sociology for my Ph.D. dissertation, that might help me as well.
AND, totally thought of a research/book idea to expose Tea Partiers and I am already having fantasies about becoming a correspondent on the Rachel Maddow Show or something. Need. To. Get. A. Life.
